Aloha e komo mai!
Holy Innocents' congregation virtually worships outdoors thanks to the nave's side walls of sliding windows.
Although modest, the building is handsomely appointed with pictures by Delos Blackmar of New York, painted during a 1940 visit, that adorn the rear wall, pulpit and altar, and depict Hawaiian birds and flora, as well as a Hawaiian Madonna and child. The triptych stained glass windows over the altar came from the parish's church of 1872 which once stood across street. Pews are of kamani and the chancel is finished in koa.
All services are pet-friendly. Come and meet Makana, Walter and Davey!

||The Wisdom Jesus Book Study:|
All are welcome to join in a book study (The Wisdom Jesus by Cynthia Bourgeault) exploring Jesus
as a teacher of the transformation of consciousness.
Join the Rev. Mary E. Haddad in an informal study of the book and the contemplative practices that put
us in touch with the heart of the wisdom teachings of Jesus.
The book is easily available on Amazon in either Kindle or paperback. Beginning Thursday,
June 6 at 5pm on the back lawn. For more information, contact the Holy Innocents Church Office,
firstname.lastname@example.org, or 808-661-4202.
WANTED: Good quality, color photographs of the church, the grounds, the cemetery or
Lahaina in general to be used to make cards and calendars for fundraising. We are especially looking for good pictures for Christmas cards. An excellent example would be a picture of the front of the church with luminary bags and candles on Christmas eve. See Pauline or Donna Tarsitano for details.
No cell phone pictures, please.
